Lawn Care Technician

Emerald Island Lawn Service is one of the most respected names in Lawn Care for the Knoxville area. Because of our growth and quality work, we are seeking a lawn technician to add to our team. No industry experience is required; however, all applicants must have a valid drivers license with an insurable record who can work in a drug free environment. Responsibilities and Duties

• Fertilization
• Weed Control
• Aeration
• Seeding
• Communication with customers regarding Lawn Care services
• Completion of daily route assignments

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must possess valid Drivers’ License with good driving record and pass MVR and background screen.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday and Saturday as required
• Must enjoy working outdoors and be able to work in temperature ranges from teens to over 90 degrees and in varying weather conditions
• Must be able to lift 50 pound bags of fertilizer, load, unload, push, lift and guide rotary spreader with total weight of 80-100 pounds and maneuver 400 foot spray hose.
• Ability to follow driving directions and familiarity with assigned service area a plus
• Must be able to read and recall regulations and procedures and pass state issued pesticide exam
• Must be able to operate motor driven equipment in different types of terrain
• Ability to work independently and provide good customer service.Benefits offered:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
