We are Happy Roots (Established in 2005)!

We are not your average Lawncare Company.

Lawncare is what we do, but serving God, people, and our community is who we are. We are here to provide, teach, support, and grow those who join our team, and those we serve. Our team serves those who need us in our community such as busy parents, physically challenged or elderly folks, widows, military family's, single Mom's and Dad's, and out of state property owners just to name a few. Everyone of these people enjoy the fact that they can come home, look out their window, walk out their door, and enjoy the beautiful lawn, and yard Happy Roots has given them each week. We impact the quality of life for thousands of people in our community in a very positive way. We do work that matters!

By joining our team you will be part of this very important purpose, and since we are not JUST a Lawncare Company, we are OK with the fact that you may or may not have any experience in this type of work. What is important to us is that you are a person who wants to have a positive impact on the team you are working with, and the people we are serving. The work we do is very physically demanding, and outdoors, so you need to be able to move all day long in all types of weather. Lifting and moving lawn equipment, bags of fertilizer, backpack sprayers, tools etc. will be a daily part of your duties. To fulfill our purpose we need individuals who love being outside, and have no problem doing physical things. You may not know until you try it if you never have! A good gauge to determine this is if being outside makes you happy, and if you like to workout, play sports, work in the yard, hike etc. Buuuuuut we have had some computer nerds, musicians, videographers, basically indoor types come work here and love it! So if you have an itch maybe you should scratch it? We do love to train the right individuals.

Spring is upon us and we are getting very busy! Come enjoy the summer with us. Who knows, maybe you will be promoted as our next crew leader, and get year round employment here, where we will pay you to take Christmas and New Year's weeks off to spend time with your family! Either way, if you stay at least until the end of the season in October, you will get a couple thousand dollars in tips on top of your pay! Oh there's lots of overtime available too if you are the type who likes to make more money.

Pay: $20.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
