We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and results oriented maintenance foreman to help grow our Northwest Atlanta location while building and developing our team.
Lawn Care Production Manager Job Description:

• As the Lawn Care Production Manager, you will be the General Manager’s (GM) right-hand person. You will work alongside the GM for the first month or two, completing tasks from fertilization applications and weed control, to mowing turf and maintenance tasks regarding mechanical turf care. Other responsibilities include edging, weed eating, aeration, dethatching, and seeding.
• You will oversee and partake in the application of pesticides, fertilizers granular and liquid spray applications. You will assist the GM in training new employees who will report to you.
• You will need to have the drive and responsibility to complete tasks on your own, with no supervision. Eventually this position will grow to the Operations Manager role, overseeing 2-4 crews applying pesticides and mowing turf.
• You will help with the logistics of chemicals, accept deliveries and ensure the location of said delivery is open and accessible. You will oversee the maintenance of equipment and ensure they are kept up on a weekly basis and logged. You will also keep track of vehicle maintenance and daily inspection. You will help track inventory and daily use of equipment and materials. Property inspections and assessments will take place throughout the year.
• You will assist in generating sales and estimates on properties when needed, along with turf diagnosis of diseases and nutrition deficiencies. You will periodically assist the GM with sales and building our client base.
• The ideal candidate will always maintain a positive attitude with dedication to grow and tackle tasks beyond their title if needed.  They work well in a team and are adept at receiving and delegating tasks on a consistent basis.

Lawn Care Production Manager Responsibilities:

• Capable and willing to complete Horticulture and Maintenance tasks on their own, especially in the beginning. While managing crew/crews in the field down the line.
• Ensure Vehicles are kept clean and Organized for Maintenance/Horticulture departments.
• Has a base knowledge of Fertilization and weed control practices. Category 24 license required.
• Has experience in turf mowing with industrial equipment. Large mowers and spray applicators, aerators
• Responsible for keeping shop clean and organized
• Assist GM in organization, Maintenance, and logistics of Mowers, spray tanks, Fertilizer pallets, Chemicals and its storage.
• Basic Knowledge of small engines and capable of minor repairs.
• Shows abilities and skills to communicate with clients, train new employees, and understands the importance of safety practices.

LawnProduction Manager Minimum Requirements:

• Valid state’s driver’s license
• DOT Certification
  • Will pay for passing certification
• Georgia Department of Agriculture Ornamental and Turf Pest Control (Category 24) License
• Proven Lawn Maintenance Track and Equipment Operation

Lawn Care Production Manager Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
  • Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
  • Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods
