Daily Tasks:
- Calculate the amount of product needed for Lawn and Landscape applications. Mix products according to label.
- Drive company vehicles to and from the office and residences located in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford, and various other counties in TN.
- Safely and accurately apply products to landscapes.
- Record chemical usage electronically.
- Monitor the condition of lawns and Landscapes, diagnose any problems and report findings to superiors and/or homeowners when necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 Years of age or older
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Excellent attendance
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 70 pounds. Walk, crawl, kneel and use your hands daily.
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Reasonable understanding of electronic devices and how to use them.
- Safe and proper operation of company vehicles and equipment, adhering to company safety standards.
- Perform work in a timely manner.
- Responsible for daily record keeping according to state requirements.
Standards for experienced technicians:
- C03 Certified in the state of Tennessee
- 1-3 years’ experience
- Apply and mix fertilizers and pesticides according to label instructions.
- Operation of Zero turn sprayers and/or common plant health application methods. -
- Identification of common plants and turf types in Middle Tennessee
- Ability to identify common pests present in Tennessee and administer treatment
- Willingness to mentor new employees to foster a successful and welcoming work environment
Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
During the busy season, hours tend to increase, and some technicians may be required to work overtime.
