About you:
We’re looking for a full-time Records Clerk to become part of our team who has the following qualifications:
- Must have an Associate's Degree or higher;
- Prior experience in data entry or Records Clerk/records retrieval is a plus; organizational skills and good work ethic are musts
About the job:
In this role, you will handle:
- Requesting client medical records from various facilities like hospitals, nursing homes, home health agencies, FOIL requests, and other records requests as needed;
- Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys in several stages of litigation including but not limited to drafting subpoenas for records, drafting and sending medical authorizations on behalf of clients; and providing support to attorneys on settlement related issues;
- Communicating and interacting extensively with clients;
- Corresponding in writing and verbally with clients, healthcare providers; and adversaries;
- Working collaboratively with paralegals and attorneys on significant legal matters
For this role, we offer a competitive salary starting at $45k+ (salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience). You will also receive benefits and 401(k).
