High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Certification, Registration & Licensure
Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. No CDL required. Must pass a DOT physical.
Experience
Must be a team player.

The Dictionary of Occupational Titles Material Handling Classification is HEAVY. The employee must
regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 20 pounds, frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 25 - 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 50 - 100 pounds.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to reach, walk, and stand. The employee is frequently required to bend, do repetitive motion, drive, hear, kneel, perform activities that require fine motor skills, speak, and squat. The employee is occasionally required to climb, sit, and smell.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, far vision, near vision,
and peripheral vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to airborne contaminants, and variable weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and bloodborne pathogens. The employee is occasionally exposed to confined spaces, electrical hazards - shock, slippery surfaces, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Responsibilities
- Weighs and records soiled weights accurately.
- Maintains daily truck log.
- Performs daily safety checks on truck.
- Performs all preventative maintenance checks as needed on the laundry truck.
- Sorts soiled linen into the various categories.
- Loads, unloads and operates washing and drying equipment.
- Examines articles for stains, tears and other imperfections.
- Functions as a team player to produce the highest standard of quality available.
- Performs different duties as needed, while maintaining standards of production.
- Performs safety checks on equipment before operating.
- Informs Laundry Manager or Lead Resource of unusual events.
- Assist in training new employees as needed.
- Drive safely and professionally, with courtesy for other drivers at all times.
