Salary Range: $17.32 - $26.10 / hour

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.
Responsibilities: Laundry Worker - One (1) Full-Time Position Available
Position Overview:
To wash, dry, fold, process and distribute textile items to CMH, OVCH, MSO affiliates and CFH Clinics. Prepare and build turnover and surgical packs to surgical and procedural area. Launder scrubs for designated areas to ensure compliance with CMS regulations for hospital laundered scrubs. Operate related equipment in an institutional laundry. Position involves exposure to heat, humidity and noise; exposure to heavily soiled or contaminated laundry, handling of caustic or acidic products.
Qualifications: Required:
- Three (3) months experience working in a housekeeping/laundry and/or production environment
Preferred:
- High School degree or equivalent (GED)
- One (1) year housekeeping/laundry environment in a healthcare setting
