Grime Busters is looking to add an additional member to our team!

As a Grime Busters Laundry Attendant, you will be the face of the Laundromat and must be willing to perform the essential functions listed below:

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Provide assistance to customers with use of laundry equipment incluidng vending machines, washing machines, dryers, and laundry cards as well as helping customers ensure they are using the right machine and correct settings for their laundry.
• Perform Wash & Fold services which include accurately weighing customer laundry, entering customer and laundry information into the POS, capturing and following any special instructions, washing, drying, folding, hanging and packaging customer laundry to the Grime Busters standard. Light ironing may occasionally be necessary.
• Responsible for accurately utilizing the cash register and POS (Point Of Sale) computer.
• Ensure the store is kept in a clean and safe status at all times which may include but is not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down machines, emptying lint traps,mopping up any spills, picking up any debris including dryer sheets, checking bathroom to ensure it is in good working order as well as reporting any unsafe or maintenance issues to management.
• Understands responsibilities for emergency situations such as fires, floods and severe weather

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours at a time for a shift
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to communicate with all customers and coworkers in a professional manner. Bilingual is a plus
• Must be able to work well with others and remain calm in stressful situations Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred
• Ability to resolve customer issues/complaints in a fashionable and timely manner escalating to management when necessary
• Ability to perform assigned tasks
• Optional - delivering customer orders may be available
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.

Skills:

• Basic math skills for cash handling and calculations
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions
• Strong attention to detail for accurate cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills to assist and interact with customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 21 per week
