Lathe Programmer

InfraHire is looking for a Lathe Programmer in Naples, FL

Lathe programmer:

As the CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist you will be responsible for taking jobs from 3D model or blueprints and produce finished parts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Programing, setup tooling, basic inspection and finishing of the parts.
• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications.
• Program lathes and Swiss lathes (Swiss experience is a plus)
• Maintains part specifications by adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements specified by the manufacturers instructions.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 7 years machining experience necessary or equivalent.
• Significant CAM software experience preferably with FeatureCam/Parts maker
• Tooling speeds and feeds selection responsibility.
• Manual Mill and Lathe Experience.
• Utilization of GD&T standards.
• Interpersonal skills required to work with others from various disciplines and cultures.
• Strong organizational skills to communicate technical data to colleagues and leadership.
• Strong level of analytical thinking.
