As a crucial member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and seamless transportation of materials to various job sites, as well as maintaining the organized flow of goods within our company's yard.Box Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities:* Drive a 26 ft Box Truck on a predetermined route and schedule* Deliver or pick up items as instructed, adhering to specified timeframes* Document deliveries and log shipments into a tablet for accurate record-keeping* Report any discrepancies during delivery to maintain precise inventory control* Report any vehicle issues encountered during the shift to the appropriate channels* Follow DOT regulations to ensure compliance with transportation standardsYard Jockey Duties and Responsibilities:* Prioritize safety in both yard and driving responsibilities, contributing to a clean and hazard-free work area to ensure a secure working environment* Efficiently maneuver trucks within the company's yard* Organize the placement of incoming and outgoing shipments within the yard for timely processing* Ensure the accurate positioning of trucks within the yard, supporting effective loading and unloading operations for both yard and delivery functions* Maintain a well-organized yard layout to facilitate easy accessibility and navigation for all operational aspects* Collaborate with team members to address challenges, fostering a cohesive work environment that enhances overall operational effectiveness* Responsible for the timely and accurate movement of trucks within the yard to meet shipping and receiving scheduleSalary Benefits EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer. Position RequirementsRequirements and Qualifications:* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record* Possess a DOT medical card* Ability to lift and physically carry materials weighing 75 pounds and up through active delivery sites with uneven surfaces, covering distances of at least 30 feet* Ability to sit for at least seven (7) hours a day while driving to and from delivery sites* Work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery and yard operation schedules* Must pass a background check/drug test/human performance evaluation* Excellent communication skillsReq Number DIS-24-00053
