SalaryIf you are an EXPERIENCED Laser Operator who can bring a strong work ethic and dedication to quality we would like to speak with you. In this role, your responsibility will be to independently set up and monitor a fiber optic or CO2 laser. Experience with Amada lasers is beneficial but not a necessity.
Nemesis Metals is a growing metal fabricator in Fond du Lac servicing a wide range of industries. We are expanding and looking for a dedicated individual to join our team working in an air-conditioned facility currently enjoying a 4 day work week: Monday through Thursday.
As a full service fabricator, Nemesis Metals provides many opportunities for advancement and cross-training. This laser position could transition into press brake, machining, or welding opportunities.
This opening is for 1st shift.
Job Summary
- Set up and run two lasers
- Review manufactured drawings to ensure parts are processed correctly
- Material handling (loading and unloading of material)
- Sort and finish cut parts (remove tabs/burrs, etc.)
- Accurately count, tag, and route parts to the next operation
- Record work order data into our paperless system
Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and comprehend part documentation (blueprints, tolerances, inspection criteria)
- Ability to use standard measuring devices (caliper, tape measure, etc.)
- Must be able to move and lift 75 lbs
- Complete operating and safety training on material handling equipment (overhead crane, etc.)
