Reports To: Director of Museum Experience
Classification: Part-time, Seasonal
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 5:00 PM – 10:15 PM from May 23 – August 31, 2024. Also requires a mandatory orientation and training session on Monday, May 20 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Compensation: $15/hour. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Calling all outgoing music lovers!
The Laser Light Technician is a member of the team responsible for set up, execution, and break down of The Bishop’s Laser Light Nights in the Planetarium Theatre.
Essential Functions
· Operate the laser projectors and computer to run the Laser Light Shows – no experience necessary. We will train you on May 20.
· Operate the concession stand, including processing cash and credit card payments and serving alcohol. You will be required to take an online 3-hour training course for serving alcohol (provided by the Museum) prior to May 20.
· Assist event staff with set up and break down including moving tables and picking up trash.
· Sell merchandise through the Museum’s Square account.
· Perform Museum closing procedures at the end of the shift.
· Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests.

· Must be at least 18 years old.
