ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Game Day Support / “Flight Crew” is a multifaceted role designed to enhance the fan experience and ensure the smooth operation of Game Day festivities. This position requires a proactive, energetic individual who can manage a variety of tasks with enthusiasm and precision.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Pre-Game Preparation: Coordinate with Game Entertainment leadership to manage VIPs, first pitches, and little league team appearances.
Fan Engagement: Utilize an outgoing personality to interact with fans, raise excitement levels, and lead crowd cheers from atop the dugout.
Promotional Activities: Select contestants for in-game promotions, distribute prizes and vouchers, and manage on-field games and ceremonies.
Event Logistics: Transport necessary items for on-field promotions, set up and break down event equipment, and maintain inventory of game entertainment materials.
Support Functions: Provide assistance to the Ballpark Support department, including shipping/receiving tasks, and interact positively with clients, contractors, and managers.
Guest Services: Offer premium concierge experiences, efficiently resolving guest inquiries and challenges, and providing accurate directions within the ballpark.
ABOUT YOU:
Age: Must be at least 16 years old.
Experience: Customer service experience is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with diverse personalities.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. waist high and assist with event setups. Must be comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
Availability: be available to work at least 75% of Las Vegas Aviators home games, including Opening Day, holidays, and mandatory stadium events. Flexibility for varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills are crucial. Must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Professionalism: Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
Teamwork: Work cohesively with other departments, including sales, security, box office, operations, and maintenance, to create a harmonious Game Day experience.
Training: Attend pre-event meetings and other trainings as required by management.
