Curriculum includes:
- Canon of Literature using classical texts
- ELA standards implementation
- Grammar, Spelling and Vocabulary instruction
- Study of Latin roots, prefixes and suffixes
Required Qualifications:
- 5-12 MN Language Arts Teaching License or
- K-6 with 5-8 MN Language Arts Teaching Concentration
- Strong background with English & Language Arts
Preferred but not Required Qualifications:
- Experience with,
- A classical model of education or a liberal arts college education
- Strong background in Linguistics or Classical Studies
- Strong background in Grammar/Grammar instruction
- Strong writing background
- Experience with implementation of Literacy Strategies across curriculum
- College preparatory rigor in a middle school setting
