Landscaper/Driver

Company: The Flower Guys Landscaping, Fort Lauderdale’s premier landscape maintenance and landscaping service provider, is seeking a dedicated Landscape Team Leader/Driver to join our dynamic team. We specialize in servicing 100% residential properties on the east side of Fort Lauderdale, offering a unique opportunity to work in a rewarding outdoor environment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive company truck and trailer to job sites
• Understand and exceed company expectations
• Maintain properties to company standards
• Manage a team of five individuals, ensuring efficient operations and meeting time goals
• Interact with clients, suggesting enhancements and addressing concerns
• Solve problems and present effective solutions

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in South Florida horticulture or landscaping
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of common South Florida plants and willingness to learn new varieties
• Ability to safely drive a landscape truck and trailer
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds, bending, climbing a ladder, and maintaining good balance and working long hours in the summer heat
• Ability to operate all landscape maintenance equipment
• Clean, valid Florida Driver's License
• Proficient in reading and writing English
• Basic computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and use new apps
• Flexibility and adaptability to weather and schedule changes
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks at all levels
• Official documentation showing you can legally work in the United States
• Must have your own vehicle to drive to work
