Landscape Specialist/Bed Maintenace

What You Need

Characteristics, Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts routine landscaping maintenance tasks.
• Performs mowing, trimming and edging turf areas using a riding mower, push mower, string trimmer and edger.
• Mulches, weeds, removes thatch, aerates, and trims and edges around flower beds, walks, pathways and walls.
• Prepares planting beds with hand and power tools; integrates soil amendments; applies mulch.
• Prunes trees, shrubs, vines and hedges.
• Drives truck to transport plants and materials/tools, as needed.
• Provide best-in-class customer service.
• Performs snow and ice removal with hand tools and power equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

The ability to:

• Lift 50 lbs. or more
• Pick up and stack material, equipment, tools, scrap, etc. from ground
• Bending, lifting, walking on uneven sloped terrain
• Shoveling sand, dirt, gravel and snow
• Climb ladders
• Ability to read and understand technical information well (in English)

Requirements

• Landscape maintenance experience is not required, though it is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to work well with others
• Physically able to perform essential functions
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Work overtime as needed
• Show up on time every day
