We are currently searching for a Landscape Architect for a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD. This is a direct hire position with full benefits.
As a Landscape designer you will assist withdesign and plan production for schools, hospitals, commercial, retail, residential, industrial, park and recreational facilities, and land subdivision sites.

We are currently searching for a Landscape Architect for a consulting engineering firm located in Baltimore, MD. This is a direct hire position with full benefits.
As a Landscape designer you will assist withdesign and plan production for schools, hospitals, commercial, retail, residential, industrial, park and recreational facilities, and land subdivision sites.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams, clients and consultants.
- Prepare landscape and hardscape plans, forest stand delineation plans, forest conservation plans, details, renderings, specifications, and associated reports.
- Perform site analysis research for potential or new projects including site data, zoning, aerial imagery, setbacks, soils, and gather available engineering/landscape related material from County offices or websites.
- Analyze maps, surveys, GIS data, and existing conditions for feasibility studies.
- Inspect and document completed landscape design to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, evaluate quality of materials and work.
- Assist staff with permitting of land development projects.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the profession or related field preferred.
- Involvement in professional organizations and working towards professional licensure preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketchup/Rhino/Lumion, and Revit.
- Outstanding hand and digital graphic communication and rendering design skills.
- Working knowledge of construction details, documents, and specifications.
- Knowledge of State and local jurisdiction laws and regulations pertaining to land use, land planning and development, and environmental regulations.
- Working knowledge of horticulture, Mid-Atlantic region and native plant material.
- Strong verbal communication and writing skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively as a team member.
- Self-motivated, strong organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
