TERRA is currently seeking a Landscape Designer to join our fast-evolving Landscape Architecture department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Project Managers and Landscape Architects in the preparation of schematic and construction documents of landscape designs. This person will also assist in completing cost estimates, ordinance compliance specifications, graphic layout for project presentations, plant selection and field supervision of landscape work. You Will:

• Develop landscape designs for such projects as parks and recreational facilities, highways, hospitals, schools, land subdivisions, and commercial, industrial, and residential sites
• Perform computer software applications to generate schematics, AutoCAD, cost estimates and calculations for projects
• Help lead the production of digital application in 3D rendering, modeling and design software
• Develop landscape designs that meet codes and requirements while being sensitive to the environment
• Uses sustainability elements in completing the designs of landscape items
• Develop solutions for construction problems in coordination with the various relevant departments
• Applies current landscaping concepts, practices and design elements to the various projects
• Perform site inspection of landscape Items, performs site observation and necessary report reports and associated logs as required
• Responsible for development of typical landscape rough designs, working on drawing, specifications and significant factors, and determining the overall cost estimates involved in the project
• Perform field investigation to guide the Landscape Architect in development of final plans
• Perform field construction observation duties as needed
• Performs other duties as required by Department Managers and Landscape Architect
• Assist in in the review of Landscape Designer work
• Execute with review of PM project execution for complete and accurate submittal

You Have:

• B.S. in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing landscape architectural services
• Knowledge of landscape terminologies, practices, policies and ordinances
• Experience using Adobe suite, AutoCAD, Lumion 3D software
• Actively in process of licensure in landscape architecture
