Landscape Construction Technician

As we continue to expand our team, we are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Technician to contribute to our growing success.

Position Overview: Home Grown Gardens is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Construction Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Landscape Construction and possess the expertise required to complete various projects, including building decks, retaining walls, fences, arbors, irrigation systems, paver patios and walkways, drainage systems, low voltage lighting systems, and planting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Execute Landscape Construction projects with precision and attention to detail
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and successful project completion
• Operate and maintain a variety of construction tools and equipment
• Interpret and implement project plans and specifications
• Install and troubleshoot irrigation systems, low voltage lighting systems, and drainage systems
• Construct decks, retaining walls, fences, arbors, paver patios, and walkways
• Contribute to planting projects, demonstrating knowledge of plant materials and horticultural practices
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations consistently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Landscape Construction
• Valid Oregon driver's license
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
• Ability to interpret project plans and specifications
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining construction tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Physical fitness to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.33 - $19.10 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
