Landscape Construction Planting Foreman/Technician

Experienced Landscape Construction Foremen/Technicians will perform removals of old landscape elements and prepare, install new landscaping elements from a printed landscape design. Employees will typically perform a variety of tasks which includes the;

Ability to read site plans.

Knowledge of soil grades and proper site drainage, paired with the ability to use a transit.

Strong knowledge of plant identification, plant installation, and soil amendment.

Experience in lawn installation.

Experience in operation of landscape equipment such as skid steers, cut-off saws, edgers, and sod cutters.

Ability to perform their work safely and ensure the rest of the crew is working safely as well.

A basic understanding of the installation of hardscape materials is a plus.

Must be able to;

Show strong leadership and guidance to your crew.

Manage time effectively.

Assess and resolve minor problems on jobs sites.

Maintain and perform minor equipment repair.

Keep accurate daily records of work completed on job sites.

Perform quality inspections of work completed by crew and provide direction to maintain quality and safety while working on job sites.

Have good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
