Green Spaces Landscaping seeking a highly organized and motivated Operations Manager to join our residential landscape design-build firm in Redmond. As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of our business. This position requires a strong blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality landscaping services to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight:
- Lead and supervise day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.
- Regularly assess and improve operational processes to enhance productivity and quality of service.
2. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of landscaping construction field workers.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
3. Client Relations:
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Address client concerns and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work to exceed client expectations and build long-term relationships.
4. Resource Management:
- Oversee equipment and truck maintenance services and schedule.
-Procure Plant materials and assist with placement on project sites.
- Manage scheduling and allocation of resources to meet project timelines and budgets.
- Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
5. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and address any issues promptly.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement in service delivery to our clients.
6. Budgeting and Financial Management:
- Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage operational budgets.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Review financial reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project, operations, or production management in the landscaping or construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of landscaping practices, materials, and equipment.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
-Ability to speak/read/write Spanish at any level (preferred but not required)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, operations, or a related field (preferred) AND/OR previous experience in a similar managerial role within the landscaping industry.
