Landscape Architect / Designer
R. Youngblood & Co. is in search of a Landscape Architect / Designer to join our design office. This individual will have th e opportunity to become a key member of our design team and contribute to the creative direction and essential decision making that will elevate our design studio growth and direction.

Our staff, consisting of both degrees in design and horticulture pride ourselves on the combined experience and passion we offer in the art of garden making. Known for our strong creatives, high level detail and precise project management, R. Youngblood & Co. orchestrates each project from the initial budget establishment, design studies and in depth project installation. Overseeing each element, our project build process ensures each project item is coordinated, communicated and managed to ensure the desired results and initial design visions are achieved.
Beyond the original establishment of a new project we are committed to the long-term development.
The Position and Qualifications:
Experience with 2D and 3D Design Software. (Lumion, Sketchup, Rhino are considered a strong asset)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Ability to produce architectural renderings to enhance project presentations.
Ability to produce detailed construction drawings.
Ability to understand, communicate, and implement architectural details, proper proportions, scale and sense of space.
Ability to plan ahead, anticipate and avoid potential problems, control outcomes and devise creative solutions to achieve
project goals.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on tasks.
Ability to collaborate with a team.
Strong communication skillset.
Effective written and communication skills.

This position will lead our next chapter within our established design studio. The candidate will be selected based on their high level
creative capabilities and understanding for private residential landscapes and estates, organizational skills, ability to self-direct,
manage and empower others. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced with residential sales, residential construction
methods, able to lead professional and compelling project presentations, collaborate with clients, co-designers, architects, and trade
