- Seeking qualified Survey Instrument Operators/Field Technicians.
- Provide Land Surveying Services in Connecticut and throughout New England .
- Projects include bridges, roadways, utilities, boundary surveys and many others. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career.
- Work with a survey crew to complete field surveys
- Assist with performing boundary, topographic, bathymetric surveys and pre-construction work
- Minimum of 1 - 4 years of experience.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience with robotic total stations, data collectors and GPS is a plus.
- Comprehension and interpretation of planimetric and design plans, profiles and cross sections, utility records, etc.
- Must be able to work safely and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Accurately records and reports daily forms
- Computer proficiency and good organizational skills.
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
- Field work and travel are expected to be a part of this position. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees are expected to perform the following activities:
- Willingness to work outdoors on project sites and ability to work in the extreme heat or cold.
- Ability to work in both urban and rural environments are required.
- Perform line clearing, stake driving, setting monuments.
