Land Surveyor - Early Career

TriMedia Environmental and Engineering Servicesis seeking a highly motivatedLandSurveyor- Early CareerinMarquette, MI.The Land Surveyor will conduct land surveys for determination of boundary lines and prepare sites for construction.

WHAT WE OFFER.

• Annual salary of$45,000-$75,000commensurate with education and experience.
• Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional extended or non-traditional hours.

WHAT YOU WILL DO.

• Update boundary lines.
• Prepare sites so that legal disputes are prevented.
• Make precise measurements to determine property boundaries.
• Determine construction location for projects.
• Lead the creation of maps.
• Obtain permits required from regulatory agencies.
• Communicate with clients, municipalities, planning commissioners, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Adhere to corporate procedures and client service protocols.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Mapping, Geomatics, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Active Professional Surveying License in the State of Michigan or must meet the requirements to obtain a professional surveying license within 5 years of hire preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage deadlines.
• Work effectively with other staff/departments.
• Well-rounded communication skills.
