Position: Associate Land Surveyor
Compensation: $32-55+/hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; In-Office (Flexible Schedule Option Available)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Position Overview:
As an Associate Land Surveyor, you'll be an integral part of our surveying and land development projects. Collaborate with seasoned professionals, gain hands-on experience in the field, and contribute to projects that shape communities and infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Perform surveying assignments adhering to company and industry standards, utilizing computer-aided drafting for document deliverables.
Prepare accurate, complete, and value-added work products, including survey computations.
Ensure timely document delivery by completing assigned tasks on or ahead of schedule.
Conduct construction staking calculations and reduce field data.
Prepare cut sheets for field crews and understand field codes and stringing for data collection.
Perform map and deed research, prepare plats and legal descriptions.
Collaborate with the Director of Surveying, Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers to obtain project information and ensure drawings' accuracy.
Maintain a consistent file organization, utilize company-provided checklists to ensure quality, and contribute to maintaining the overall look and consistency of company drawings.
Qualifications:
3+ years of AutoCAD experience.
3+ years of Land Surveying experience.
Ability to work in Roseville, CA (Relocation or reliable commute required).
