General Purpose
Responsible for supervising the campground office and store operations at Knoebels Lake Glory Campground. This is a full-time hourly position that reports to the Lake Glory Assistant Facility Manager and is responsible for ensuring the highest level of safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of Lake Glory Office and Store.
- Hire, discipline, schedule, train and motivate staff.
- Ensure campground reservations are accurately entered into campground software.
- Purchase store merchandise and supplies.
- Check-in and collect payment for reservations.
- Maintain orderliness in the arcade.
- Count and balance registers & maintain till boxes.
- Must have good phone skills to be able to take phone or radio calls regarding campground guests.
- Sell campground store merchandise accurately using point of sale register including use of credit card processor
- Must be able to record incoming and damaged merchandise
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds to perform stocking duties, keep store, stock room organized and clean.
Education and Experience
- Experience in hospitality in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- Experience with point of sale and time keeping software preferred
- Proven experience in sales and event planning.
