Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is an outstanding partnership that allows our customers to use the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

Responsible for method development and execution of analytical techniques such as HPLC for assay, impurities, blend and content uniformity, dissolution, and water analysis by Karl Fisher titration to support drug product development.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support drug product development including characterization of the process and finished products.
  • This position requires hands on experience and knowledge in small molecule pharmaceutical analysis, formulation and/or biopharmaceutics.
  • The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members and present results to development teams.

Education and Experience:

BS in Chemistry, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field with 2+ years experience in a regulated laboratory,

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience in analytical development in support of drug product formulation development.
  • Extensive laboratory experience (at least 2 years in a pharmaceutical lab) with in-depth knowledge of conventional laboratory techniques such as Karl Fischer, HPLC/UPLC, dissolution and wet chemistry is required.
  • Experience with Empower desirable.
  • Experience in performing dissolution testing using biorelevant media, for active ingredients and drug formulations to facilitate biopharmaceutics risk assessment and support drug product development is a plus.
  • Fluency in formulation development, pharmaceutical processing or pharmaceutical sciences is desired.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Familiar with USP, ICH and other compendial requirements.
  • Excellent teammate with good interpersonal, written, verbal communication skills.
