Laboratory Technician

ALVAR Industries, LLC, a growing specialty chemical manufacturer, has a full-time opening for a Laboratory Technician. This position is responsible for the daily laboratory and production tasks associated with the coatings industry. Candidates will perform quality control tests, assist in laboratory procedures, manage the daily production schedule, and must be willing to assist in production when needed. There will be a strong emphasis on learning and understanding the industry which allows for advancement within the laboratory.

Qualified candidates must possess:

• Must be able to complete projects and tasks according to deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to communicate product information to customers and sales representatives.
• Supervisory experience in an industrial setting is a plus.
• A 2 year associates degree with an emphasis on Biology and Chemistry is a plus. Quality Control experience is a plus.
