Position: Laboratory Technician
Location:Bay Minette, AL
The QCQA role encompasses testing materials to ensure compliance and overseeing reporting duties for Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) tasks. Additionally, the QCQA is responsible for submitting daily reporting to accounting, tracking inventory, non-inventory, and production reporting. The selected candidate will conduct timely testing using specified methods, providing management with updated daily test results and electronic reports. While prior experience is not necessary, on-the-job training will be provided over a comprehensive 6-month period. We seek an energetic and adaptable individual capable of maintaining composure and productivity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, offering not just a job but a potential career path for the right candidate. - Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills are essential.
- Above-average Basic Math skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- The ability to multitask and stay focused on tasks in a deadline-driven environment is vital.
- Self-motivated individuals who can also collaborate harmoniously within a team when required are preferred.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work in a tidy and organized manner is required.
Requirements:
- Current Driver’s License required
- Preferred: Some College Education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, and Excel is necessary.
- Availability for overtime work as needed, sometimes with short notice, is essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time is required.
