- Perform routine and non-routine chemical and/or metallurgical analytical tasks at assigned site.
- May collect samples which could include collection from rail cars or trucks in some locations
- Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques.
- Assists with/performs routine chemical and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting.
- Maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment
- Perform other duties as required
- Demonstrated knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Associates related degree
- High School diploma or GED
- Experience with mathematic and/or numbers based tasks
- Experience with chemical sample preparation and/or analysis
- Ability to follow detailed, technical instructions
- Experience with tedious or repetitive motions or tasks
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Strong proficiency using MS Excel to develop and maintain spreadsheets reports, and other documentation
What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently$19.00 - $26.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
