Element has a current opening for a Laboratory Technician to join our growing team in Ann Arbor, MI on a Fixed Term basis TheLaboratory Technician maintains equipment & inventory of sterile glassware, provides support to sample coordination process and lab operations, assists with calibrating instruments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain appropriate level of inventory of clean glassware in each lab.
- Appropriately disposing of expired samples, following established standard operating procedures.
- Assisting Sample Coordinator with sample inventory and ensuring samples are properly stored at all times.
- Support instrument calibration schedules and coordinate outsourced calibrations.
Skills / Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Must be reliable/dependable
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma OR Associates Degree
