Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work on-site in the chemistry laboratory.
- Plan and execute projects independently, and report on the progress and results.
- Collaborate closely with the chemistry development engineer to determine the experimental approach.
- Execute formulation recipes.
- Perform chemical analysis on the experimental formulations.
- Perform durability testing on the experimental formulations.
- Write reports on the experiment project results.
- Complete training and follow applicable OHC (Occupational Health and Safety) processes and procedures.
- Develop familiarity with the existing range of formulations.
- Review, follow, and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including recording traceable information on device history records.
- Prepare data summaries, reports, and protocols using existing templates as a model, as well as review and approve basic laboratory data.
- Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards.
Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related science field with 2 years working in a chemistry laboratory Required or
Bachelor's of Chemistry Degree Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.66 - $27.29 per hour
