We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Specimen Processor to join our team. As a Specimen Processor, you will play a crucial role in the accurate and timely processing of Laboratory Specimens. This position requires knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures, medical terminology, and specimen collection processing.
```Responsibilities```
- Receive and process Laboratory Specimens according to established protocols
- Verify patient information and specimen integrity
- Prepare specimens for analysis by labeling and centrifuging as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of specimen processing and distribution
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow
```Requirements```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to accurately phlebotomize patients if required
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
