Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sample Courier to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of environmental samples to our laboratory. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver environmental samples, including soil, water, and wastewater, from various client sites to our laboratory.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely sample collection and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of sample pick-up and delivery, including sample identification, date, and time.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling and transporting samples.
• Communicate effectively with clients and laboratory staff to coordinate sample collection and resolve any issues.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleanliness checks on the company vehicle.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver preferred.
• Familiarity with environmental sampling procedures is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional and courteous demeanor.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
