Description -
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Labels Category Manager to lead our digital label category segment. This role plays a critical part in our company's success by overseeing the digital Labels Category, ensuring product development, sales enablement, and market strategies align with our business goals. The Digital Labels Category Manager will be responsible for identifying trends, managing the product lifecycle, and contributing to the growth of the category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Category Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital Labels Category strategy that aligns with the company's objectives. Identify market trends, customer demands, and competitive landscape to drive growth.
  • Product Management: Oversee product lifecycle from a Sales GTM perspective, from NPI launch and ongoing optimization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive market adoption of the portfolio.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor the digital labels market, staying informed about industry developments and identifying new opportunities. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions.
  • Pricing Management: Develop and manage pricing strategy and programs. Analyze financial performance and make strategic adjustments as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other teams to support marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and customer engagement efforts.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the category's success.
  • Team collaboration: Actively supports the account team with solution advice, proposals, presentations, and other customer communications.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Technical University or Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in category management, product management, or a related field within the digital labels industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of digital printing latest technology & solutions. Leverages deep understanding of the competition - both positioning strategy and technology - to create competitive advantage for HP.
  • Applies deep understanding of technical innovations & trends to solving customer business problems.
  • Strong credibility with HP's business units and account teams based on history of solid results and contributions.
  • Establishes thought leadership in technical specialty area with customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as the lead for large complex projects at a Regional or global level.
  • Has a deep understanding of HP's product & service capability for multiple BU's.
  • Has demonstrated extensive hands-on level skills with a broad range of the technology.
  • Demonstrates strong communications skills with customer management, as well as C-level executives.
