SUMMARY: This job description reflects assignments of essential function it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for receiving all incoming labels and receiving the inventory into D365.
• Communicate with Corporate Label Coordinator daily.
• Oversee Daily Label Tracker and react accordingly.
• Oversee Labels that are directly related to Kosher, Non-Kosher, Non-GMO and Organic.
• Be able to work with third party Food Safety Inspectors, in a moment’s notice.
• Communicate with Quality Manager and Production Manager on the status of Internal Labels.
• Comprehend Standard Operating Procedures and perform daily paperwork accordingly.
• Must be detail oriented and give direction to co-workers that are involved in daily label handling.
• Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Co-Workers to coordinate incoming raw materials.
• Oversee and create PPS Sheets.
• Label Inventory Control: Place labels on hold as necessary, complete documentation and notify appropriate personnel per Non-conformance SOP.
• Notify corporate purchasing of need to re-order labels. Participate in cycle counts to reconcile label inventory discrepancies.
• Work with Corporate to resolve quality and quantity problems with label vendors.
• Responsible for food product quality and safety.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (include physical attributes)

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Computer proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel), Word Processing (Word).
• Database management skills.
• Accurate, basic math skills.
• Work well with limited supervision.
• Good Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
