- Perform routine lab tasks such as glassware cleaning, temperature checks, and basic instrument calibrations
- Monitor laboratory supply levels to ensure adequate quantity are available and within expiry
- Assist with general housekeeping activities
- May assist the Chemistry Lab with sample preparation and/or testing
- May assist the Media/Microbiology Labs through sample weighing, plate labeling, and pouring media needed for test execution
- Complete appropriate documentation, maintaining accurate and legible notebooks and records

- Utilize basic tools and instrumentation to perform protocols related to plant care and weed destruction (in a greenhouse environment) and pesticides
- Perform cleaning studies to determine durability and legibility of medical device products
- Meet all testing assignment deadlines and document all analyses in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform technical review/interpretation of test data and ensure validity of results
- Generate reports and present findings to the client as requested
- Meet regularly with the project sponsor(s) to provide updates and receive instruction on next steps
- High school diploma required. BS in Chemistry, Biology or related scientific discipline preferred
- At least 1 year working in a laboratory environment (GMP/FDA-regulated preferred)
- Ability to work independently with little oversight
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and agility
- Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
- Ability to anticipate client needs and react to changing priorities
- Strong documentation skills with ability to maintain accurate laboratory records
- Must have strong interpersonal skills such as communication, initiative, and a positive attitude
