Academy of Art University is seeking to hire a Lab Technician with our School of Music Production for Sound Media for the Spring 2024 semester. Share your talent and knowledge with our students as they explore their creativity, define their vision and reach their true potential as artists. This on-site role will work closely with faculty, staff and students using our studio. Ideal candidates should have previous experience using Logic Studio, ProTools, and Sibelius software.
Responsibilities:
- Check students in and out of Music Lab
- Supervise lab and studios and students using lab and studios
- Administrate checkout system for headphones; keep track of equipment checked out
- Assist students as needed with any troubleshooting issues related to Mac OS X and Logic Pro software, as well as basic questions related to running of Logic Studio, Pro Tools, and Sibelius music notation software
- Create and administrate waiting list for lab if needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
This position and duties may be altered, amended or changed by Academy of Art University at its sole discretion.
Compensation: $22.00/hour
