Looking for a technician with hands-on chemistry lab experiences. This candidate will be a key member of a materials development and evaluation team. We are looking for individuals who have experience with chemical processing and with a variety of tools and equipment to develop innovative cell products to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
- Powder (ceramic materials) processing including mixing, sieving, and milling
- Wet chemistry processing including solution preparation, reaction set-up, filtration, waste handling
- Hands-on work with high temperature ovens and furnaces
- Collect data and parameters with the use of travelers and process documentation
- Execute preventative maintenance and troubleshoot on equipment including pumps, bearings, mixers, sealer and etc
- Support on equipment installation, commission, and calibration
- Assist in the optimization of process parameters to improve material properties, yield, and consistency
- Hands-on experience working in chemistry labs
- Experiences in maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Basic mechanical skills of hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to learn quickly and work efficiently to meet target goals
- Meticulous attitude in data tracking, observation and note taking, as well as communicating with the engineers
- Willingness to collaborate and take on challenges in unfamiliar areas
- Experience with chemical handling and powder processing is a plus
- Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, pipe fitting and/or welding is a plus

$24.40 - $65.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
