Lab Assistant

Boro Hemp Co. is looking to train and hire someone as a flexible Lab Assistant in our edible section in our CBD lab. Boro Hemp is a small company that is growing fast. This position starts out at $13 an hour, Monday-Friday 4:30pm-1:30am, with the occasion weekend. We are a team who works together, and we are looking for someone who has the drive and work ethic to smoothly get help orders out in a timely and professional manner. This is a full time position, that will reqiure 40 hours per week. You must have your own means of transportation. Job Duties:

• ‪Operate all equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and applicable government regulations in the industry.
• Accurately weigh, label, and store materials.
• Manage inventory of raw materials.
• Develop and update SOPs to ensure safety, quality, and process control.
• Understand and safely handle materials and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on associated equipment.
• Contribute toward an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
• Work as part of a team to coordinate and meet production schedules and support new product and process development.
• Exemplify good verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Background requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Experience and knowledge of CBD products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $13.50 per hour
