Reporting Structure: Reports to Tasting Room Manager.

Requirements– Lead with integrity, honesty, and experience while promoting an environment focused on excellent customer service, hospitality, and sales. Represent Ste. Chapelle Winery in a positive and professional manner.

Kitchen & BOH Support

Primary Directive

Assists all tasting room staff with executing guest’s needs by providing amazing winery experiences while focusing on building our tasting room sales, wine club memberships and customer base
Assists with seating guests, setting tables, setting private tastings, clearing tables, stocking supplies and all other general duties to help elevate guest’s experiences
Helps maintain cleanliness of facility, bathrooms, tasting room, and glassware
Assist and direct guests as needed
Assists all staff with guests, food orders, overall stocking and daily functions
Assists with opening and closing daily for the Tasting Room and property
Complete food orders according to presentation guidelines.
Cut and prep prepared food items
Event support, including set-up and break down
Stocks merchandise and supplies as needed

A passion for and sound knowledge of wine
Demonstrated sales ability
Strong interpersonal skills
Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good sense of humor
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Strong computer skills and knowledge of point of sale
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift items up to 40lbs
