Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. Duties: - Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers - Ensure food quality and consistency by monitoring all aspects of food production - Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food preparation and cooking techniques - Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality - Train new kitchen staff on proper food handling and safety procedures - Collaborate with the executive chef to create new menu items and specials - Oversee banquet operations, including menu planning, staffing, and execution - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations - Handle customer complaints or concerns regarding food quality or service Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality or food industry - Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Proven experience in managing kitchen operations, including inventory control and cost management - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is preferred - Cash handling experience is a plus We offer competitive pay based on experience.
