Duties:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist the cook in setting up the kitchen for service and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Help with banquet and catering events by setting up tables, arranging food displays, and replenishing supplies as needed
- Support the culinary team by washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen tools
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from the cook or chef
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
