Position Overview:
As a Food Runner and Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient service in our dining areas. You will work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to enhance the overall dining experience for our members and guests.
Responsibilities:
Food Running:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that each dish is presented with attention to detail and adheres to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to maintain smooth communication\
- Table Bussing:
- Clear tables of used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly and efficiently.
- Reset tables for the next guests, ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining areas.
- Guest Interaction:
- Provide friendly and attentive service to members and guests.
- Respond promptly to any additional requests or needs from diners.
- Contribute to creating a positive and memorable dining experience.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to facilitate smooth service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure a coordinated and efficient workflow.
- Adherence to Standards:
- Follow established guidelines for food presentation, table setup, and cleanliness.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a high level of cleanliness in work areas.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to take direction effectively.
- Customer Service: Strong focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move items as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Shift:
- Evening shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
