CLASS Academy is a Preschool through 8th grade, year-round, private school in the North West District of Portland. We achieve excellence in education through teacher directed multi-sensory learning, small student to teacher ratios, and curated age-blended cohorts. Our students' strengths are Language Arts, Reading, Math, Writing, Science, and Public Speaking.

CLASS Academy is seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team of excellent educators in June 2024. The position is for a Kindergarten Teacher. Our Kindergarten school day is 8:30am-2:30pm, 5days/week. The position would be 40 hours/week though.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working in Elementary Education preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
Ability to work 40 hrs. per week, between the hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm
Maintains current First Aid/CPR Certification or able to become certified within 30 days of employment.
Maintains current Oregon Food Handler’s Certification or able to become certified within 30 days of employment.
Maintains certification for Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse or able to become certified within 30 days of employment.
Currently enrolled in Oregon’s Central Background Registry or able to enroll within 30 days of employment

Position

• 40 hrs/week
• Starting wage between $39,000 - 49,000/year (depending on your experience)
