Job Purpose
The Four or Five Year Old Kindergarten Assistant works in collaboration with other Educational professionals to support the development of learners at an early age to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth and maturation. The Assistant performs complex work while providing services to students in general instruction or in a specialized group of students and motivates them to learn in a developmentally appropriate manner. Their role is to promote consistency for the children’s experience throughout the school day. The
Assistant works with general supervision, however limited supervision may be exercised over assigned professional aide employees.
