Regional Operating Room Specialist, Wound

Location: Chicago, IL

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday – Friday: 8:15AM – 5:00PM

How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:

The Regional Operating Room Specialist (RORS) will represent LifeNet Health by promoting LifeNet tissue offerings along with ultrasonic debridement in the clinical setting of the hospital operating room. The RORS will carry a regional sales quota and be responsible for all aspects of selling this portfolio to the O.R.s within the designated region. The RORS will work with all Bio-implant Specialists in the region as a team with the goal of maximizing O.R. sales across the region. The RORS will report to the Sales Director. The successful RORS understands the healthcare industry, attains a high level of clinical competence, works diligently to execute a well thought out business plan, utilizes sales process sells according to company strategy, and collaborates frequently across regions to promote O.R. selling best practices.

What you’ll do:

  • Sales: Achieve sales quotas for assigned channel (Operating Room) and product groups, establish and execute quarterly and annual key performance metrics. Assist management with sales planning and execution in the Operating Room setting. Collaborates with sales representatives within the region to execute selling plants.
  • Relationship Building: Conduct in-services and meetings by delivering company developed presentations to groups of physicians, hospital administration, and clinicians.
  • Business Planning & Strategy: Develop and execute annual business plans within the assigned geography. Review quarterly key performance metrics with management to set execution goals for the Region.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Holds self and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role. 

What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Eight (8) years of sales experience delivering against a quota
  • Three (3) years of selling in tissue and/or ortho-biologics segment of medical device industry.

 

Preferred:


  • Eight (8) years of sales experience in the biotech, life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industry

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
  • Attention to Detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure a high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships with team members, sales reps, internal partners, and external customers.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to use professional judgment in solving problems and making recommendations.
