We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care for our furry friends. This position requires a strong love for animals and the ability to handle them with care and compassion.

Duties:
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas
- Feed and water animals according to their specific dietary needs
- Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff
- Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Exercise and socialize animals to ensure their physical and mental well-being
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and basic grooming tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules, medications, and any observed changes in behavior or health
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with the public
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed
- Basic knowledge of pet care, including feeding, grooming, and exercise needs
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology is preferred but not required
