Kennel Tech Supervisor At Pet City Colorado

Pet City Baja in Colorado Springs, CO is looking for one Kennel Tech Supervisor to join our team. We are located on 750 Citadel Dr. East Suite #2092. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities will include:

•Feeding and watering animals

•Cleaning kennels and enclosures

•Monitoring health of animals

•Administering medication

•Train and develop employees

•Delegate tasks and provide follow up

•Hold team accountable and provide coaching

•Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

•High school diploma or GED

•Strong verbal and written communication

•Basic computer skills to include Google and Microsoft Office

•Ability to multi-task and work safely in a fast-paced environment

•Endurance in a manual labor environment

•Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift 40+ lbs

•Ability to climb and use stepladders

•Accurately read and use measurements

•Ability to follow directions and checklists

•Reliable transportation and attendance

•Availability to work weekends

•Evening and Weekend hours required

•Organized and attentive to detail

•Preferred prior experience in a leadership position

•Required prior Kennel Tech experience

Compensation:

•Non-exempt (Hourly) Employee

•Pay Range: $18 per hour

•Up to $2.00/hour Bonus pay available after training, based on performance metrics

•Eligible for Vacation Accrual after 6 months.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $20.00/hour.
