Our team is passionately dedicated to improving the lives of thousands of students we serve, and we are searching for an Educational Consultant who will support our Sales team. As eLuma grows, the position will evolve and responsibilities may change over time.
We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, smart and over achieving Educational Consultant with proven experience and a passion for selling mental health, behavior and special education services and solutions to K-12 leaders.
You will be responsible for assisting the Account Executives in selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.
Responsibilities
- Support Sales by providing education, sales enablement, attending sales calls, events, and hosting educational events
- Create resources and content to support the sales process, including internal communications, sales presentations, competitive documentations, templates, clinical knowledge base, and documentation tutorials for eLuma’s proprietary software
- Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
- Help model any new business case associated with mental health and special education sales
- Develop and deliver Professional Development if needed
- Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to enable and support the sales team and insure the team quota goals are met
- Provide sales knowledge and expertise in address operational processes that align with the sales contracts
- Partner with cross-team mental health and special education experts and product owners, to ensure the accurate delivery of services, based on the sales contracts
- Ensure accurate documentation of requirements and clear communication with other teams involved post-sale
- Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
- Help the sales team manage all mental health and special education requirements of RFP / RFI responses with help from Clinical Services team
- Effectively communicate client needs to the product development teams for future service offerings
- Collect and document competitive intelligence
- Support the product development and strategic partnership teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and skills:
- Proven work experience as an Educational Consultant, or related field
- Business-minded focus on growing the business while staying focused on students
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior K-12 decision makers
- Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
- Strong mental health and special education background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in strategy/delivery in K-12 schools
- Strong background in addressing and supporting behavioral challenges
- Hands on experience in supporting special education service delivery models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
- Attending conferences and/or meetings is an essential part of this role, which may require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination per CDC guidelines
- Master’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience in Mental Health School Social Work, School Counselor, or School Psychologist
